Lakshmi Menon (born 19 May 1996 in India) is an Indian film actress who mainly appears in Tamil (Collywood) films. After her debut as a supporting role in the Malayalam film Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya (2011), she was cast as the female lead in her debut film Tamil Kumki in 2012. She became known as the Sundarapandian "Kumki menon" and the next three editions in Tamil were commercially successful and she was named by Sify as "The Fastest New Star in Tamil Cinema". In 2013 she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in the South. She also received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for her roles in Sundarapandian and Kumki.
